Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection  This Department of Consumer Protection administers the Connecticut Lemon Law arbitration program and licenses many businesses that deal with consumers such as home improvement contractors, trade contractors, and health clubs. 

Connecticut Department of Banking  The Department of Banking regulates and licenses banks (other than national banks), finance companies, and debt collectors.

Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles  The DMV regulates auto dealers and repairers. 

Connecticut Attorney General  The Attorney General's office investigates complaints regarding consumer fraud and, where appropriate, enforces state law for the benefit of the public and consumers. 

United States Office of the Comptroller of Currency  The OCC regulates national banks and its subsidiaries.
